THE COMPARISON

Compare the work involved, not just the final answer.

This table compares two ways of working, not the intelligence of every model. AI applications can find sources, calculate and connect to data, depending on their tools and configuration. AInvestor integrates a financial research workflow for investors.

AInvestor vs AI models: a guide for investors
Your need AInvestorFinancial information + structured AI AI models used directlyGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.
Starting point Choose a company and find its data in a purpose-built financial research workflow. Describe what you want. Results depend on your question, supplied documents and available tools.
Financial information Financial statements, history, ratios and news are linked to the security, subject to available coverage. The application may find or read this information. Check what it actually consulted and what is missing.
Periods and currencies Views organize histories and indicators. Inspect their period and unit before interpreting them. Specify or check the years, quarters, currencies and definitions used in the response.
Calculations and explanations Indicators calculated by the platform are separate from Brainier’s interpretation. A model can write a number; a calculation tool can calculate it. Identify which method was actually used.
Company comparisons Dedicated views let you explore peers and analysis dimensions in the same environment. Request a comparison and specify criteria. Consistency depends on the data and approach selected.
Portfolio Portfolio and X-Ray features connect positions to diversification and concentration, depending on the plan. The assistant needs your holdings or an appropriate connection. Your question alone does not describe your portfolio.
Sources and limits Available source and coverage information accompanies analyses. Missing data should remain identifiable. Open and check the suggested links and references. A citation or a confident tone does not guarantee accuracy.
Work for the user A guided workflow and everyday questions. No software to install or specialist prompting skills required. Direct the collection, instructions and checks, with varying assistance from the application and its tools.

AInvestor features depend on the plan, security and provider coverage. This table describes workflows; it is not a performance benchmark.

What AInvestor builds around AI

    Gather

    Available financial data and context.

  2. 02

    Organize

    Indicators, histories and comparisons.

Brainier helps explain results and their limitations.

FICTIONAL EDUCATIONAL EXAMPLE

“The dividend yield is 6%. Is that attractive?”

An isolated percentage can feel sufficient. Before drawing a conclusion, four pieces of information change the picture.

See the four checks
Date
Do the price and dividend refer to compatible periods?
Type of figure
Is the dividend paid, announced or estimated?
Financial strength
What do cash flow, debt and payment history show?
Portfolio
Would this security add to an existing concentration?

AInvestor lets you connect these dimensions when data is available. Missing information limits the conclusion. This example is neither an actual model response nor a measured AInvestor result.

An integrator, in plain language

Researching a company can mean opening its results, charts, news, a comparison tool and an AI assistant. An integrator gathers and connects this information so your research follows one coherent path.

In AInvestor, the security you are studying connects Snapshot, Gauge 360, peer comparisons and Brainier. You get a working environment organized around the company.

What does “structured AI” mean?

AInvestor’s specialized instructions give AI a framework: which data to use, which dimensions to examine and how to flag missing information. Indicators calculated by the platform remain separate from AI-generated text.

OpenAI can provide the AI engine; AInvestor adds information integration and the financial workflow. “Structured” describes this framework, without promising infallible answers.

You know the markets. The tool should simplify your research.

Experience helps you judge a business. It does not guarantee that generated text uses the right date or definition. With AInvestor, you retain your judgment and gain organized information to support it.

  1. 1

    Choose a company

Search for its name or stock symbol.

  2. 2

    Review the facts

Open its Snapshot and examine the available information.

  3. 3

    Ask for an explanation

Ask Brainier a plain-language question: “What explains this change?”

Your questions, plainly answered

Are GPT and other models unable to work on finance?

No. They can explain, analyze and use financial tools. A general-purpose model alone is not an organized, verified financial information system. Specialized applications are also built around these models. The difference described here is AInvestor’s integrated workflow.

Why use AInvestor if I already like my AI assistant?

To access connected financial information and analysis views without rebuilding the workflow for each search. You can keep your usual assistant; AInvestor addresses the need for a specialized environment around securities and portfolios.

Can a professional replace a financial terminal with GPT alone?

We do not recommend that replacement. A terminal such as Bloomberg brings together market data, news, research, analytics and professional tools. A conversation with GPT does not replace that whole environment. AI can help you use it. This example illustrates the value of financial integration; AInvestor offers its own workflow and does not claim to provide all Bloomberg capabilities.

Is it just a better prompt?

No. Specialized instructions guide a response, but AInvestor also provides data, calculations, views, peer comparisons and research context. A prompt cannot replace missing data.

I am not comfortable with computers. Where do I start?

Start with a company you know. Review its information, then ask Brainier a question in everyday language. Tutorials show the workflow. You do not need to program, install software or learn prompting terminology.

Is a confident answer evidence?

No. An answer can be clear and wrong. Check important figures, their dates and original sources. This also applies to AInvestor’s explanations.

Does AInvestor guarantee its data or my decisions?

No. Providers, calculations and AI can introduce errors, delays or gaps. Analyses support research and understanding; they guarantee neither returns nor a decision appropriate to your circumstances.

GPT, Bloomberg or AInvestor: start with your needs.

1. A one-off answer or a research environment?

An AI assistant

For explaining a concept, summarizing a document or exploring a question with the available tools.

A financial platform

For finding data, indicators, peer comparisons and your research context in one place.

2. Which platform fits your needs and budget?

Bloomberg: professional terminal requirements

Multi-asset data, research, market tools, collaboration and execution: evaluate this environment when your work requires that breadth.

AInvestor: stock research on a personal budget

Company views, indicators, peer comparisons, portfolios and Brainier explanations, depending on the plan. Explore with Freemium, then choose the features useful to your research.

“Mini Bloomberg” illustrates the idea of bringing financial information and tools together. AInvestor is an independent platform focused on securities and portfolio analysis, with its own range of features.

AInvestor: your affordable “mini Bloomberg”.

Information in one place. Guided analysis. A budget within reach.
